Kevin Donnelly was my special friend... I will never forget him. We became acquainted at Northeast Elementary in the 5th grade and remained friends (most of the time) until we lost touch in the late 70's when he moved to Europe. Kevin accepted me at face value and I did the same for him. We went to Prom together because nobody else asked. The last time I saw Kevin was in about 1975, when he came back to town to see his family. He called me to arrange a dinner date and when I went to pick him up (he never learned to drive, knowing he'd be living in New York City), he had on more makeup than I did. I made him go back in and wash his face before we could go out in Tulsa, Oklahoma!!! Ha Kevin was such a hoot! Our communications continued while he lived the life of a 'gypsy,' performing with various ballet companies from New York City to Cincinnati and, finally, to Baden-Baden, West Germany, where we lost touch. His letters were always fun-filled and hilarious. He was a dear friend and I'll never forget him. -Sharon (Sellers) Dunn

Oh, my...How many times have I thought of Kevin Donnelly during my life.  He really went to the school of hard knocks, big time.  My heart would hurt so much for him.  He was a talented ballet dancer.  Good for him.  Another person who left me with a real lifes lessons. He did not deserve what he took during school.  It is good that times are changing, for sure.
