Sam passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was 60 years old.
Sam was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 22, 1955 to Jack Franklin and Marie Ethel (Baumer) Campbell. Sam was a 1973 Broken Arrow High School graduate. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma. Sam worked as a salesman for a residential construction company. 
On August 6, 1994 Sam married Mara “Mikki” Hakel in a Broken Arrow wedding ceremony. Sam was a wonderful husband and father. He loved spending time with his family and was a good provider to his family. 
In his free time, Sam enjoyed being outdoors where he could get in some golf and fishing. Sam was also a big OU football and OKC Thunder basketball fan. He also loved his church family and singing in the choir.
